Programming Xtreme 6-Function Remote Control Codes
Remote codes are essential when programming a universal remote to control multiple devices in your home. Extreme 6-function remote control codes can be used during remote programming, designed to recognize the device and enable setup in the remote control. You must identify valid codes for your device, which you can find in this post or in the user manual. Using these codes, you can set up your remote for your TV, DVD, VCR, and other entertainment devices.
How to Program Xtreme Universal Remote Codes
You can program the remote control manually using the code entry method. In this procedure, you must enter a code on the remote control to set it to the corresponding device. Please follow the instructions carefully before programming your remote.
- Collect the Xtreme universal remote codes on paper or take a screenshot on your smartphone to help you find the valid codes quickly. The programming procedure depends on your code. Check the list to find the valid codes assigned for your device and brand.
- Insert two powered batteries into the Xtreme remote control to send strong signals to the device during remote programming. Also, connect all the cables correctly to your device and turn it on.
- Point the remote control at the device sensor window. If the remote has a SETUP button, press it until the LED indicator turns on. If the remote doesn’t have a SETUP button, press the corresponding device button, such as TV, DVD, AUX, or any other device button you wish to control using the remote. The LED indicator will turn on when you press the SETUP or DEVICE button for over three seconds. After this, release the button.
- Enter the code you wish to use on the keypad. The LED light will turn off if the remote receives a valid code. If the LED indicator blinks and remains on, enter another code until the remote recognizes the correct code.
- Press the “POWER” button on the remote control. The targeted device should turn off after entering the valid code. If the device doesn’t turn off, try to reprogram your remote starting from Step 3.
Xtreme Universal Remote Control Codes (6-in-1 & 8-in-1)
Below are the Xtreme universal control codes for 6-in-1 and 8-in-1 remotes that you must use during programming. These codes are unique, and multiple codes are assigned for a single device. If the first code does not work for your device, you can try the remaining codes during remote programming. Refer to the programming instructions above on how to recognize the valid code. These codes are compatible with TVs, DVDs, VCRs, and other home entertainment devices. Choose a valid code based on your device and brand name to program your remote control correctly.
